I see Julian on Weather-Display forum has posted a new version of WDL.  I started to install it but hesitated and decided not to do it because from the explanation of the new features he has incorporated, if I install in the normal WDL folder and it overwrites the old WDL executable my several WDL pages are going to be toast.  Not to mention how they are going to be accepted by Ken's AJAX/PHP templates.

Guess I'll wait a while to see if there is any fallout. Roll Eyes

I just updated to the new version without to much trouble and I have a very non-standard setup.
Just run the new configurator using your existing config file. Some items may be a little out of place
and you can just drag them where they should be. It's a really nice tool. Then upload the new config
file and the wdlv6_01.swf file and change the index file to point to the new .swf file.

I don't use the AJAX/PHP templates but it looks like all you would have to change in wxlive.php
is these two lines.

var pathToConfig = "http://saratoga-weather.org/wdlconfig5.01.xml";

var swfFileName = "wdlv5_03.swf";

to the correct values and it should work.
